A Webmasters Guide to Free Information on the Web

Free information.  Now that sounds great and everything, but how often do you find it helpful.  Usually, it's just a bunch of similar material that is supposed to entice you to either give out your email address or get involved with the real information.  Unfortunately, this happens all the time, which is why we decided to share some insight on this topic.  Hopefully, you'll enjoy the good information we've come across to help you as a webmaster.

Building and Designing

As a new website owner, the first thing you might think of when looking into a webmasters guide to free information on the web is scripts.  You know, HTML, CGI, PHP, shout box scripts, registration scripts, and all the others that are out there.  These could all be a portion of your website in the end, depending on what types of styles you'll be using.  Most important, there are free scripts, just make sure they do everything you want them to do.

Hosting Solutions

Well, if you have a website you're going to need someone to host it for you (unless you use your own server).  We don't really know any hosting sites that offer it free, but there are occasions where you can find 5MB free or something of that nature.  This usually involves purchasing other products like domain names, security certificates, and many other options.

Website Promotion

A webmasters guide to free information on the web has to include website promotion.  You can take advantage of everything from email marketing to article marketing.  In fact, over the last five years people have come out with more and more tools that are free for you to use.  When it's all free, the Internet business society considers it  "bum marketing."  The only downside you'll find with free tools and information is that your process will take a little bit longer.

Video Tools and Assistants

The twenty-first century has brought us all kinds of innovations, but the biggest one to date is probably the use of videos on the net.  If you haven't thought about using them before, you might think about it now.  It's a personal way for visitors to see a real side of you or the company which often times results in subscriptions and or better conversions.

So Where Do You Find All of These Tools?

Well, you can obviously use the search engines to find what you need, but we've spent months researching different tools you can utilize.  If you want to get them all in one place, then be sure to read some of our other information.  When it's all said and done we want to help you become successful online.  Why go on a searching adventure anyways when you can find it all in one place?
